Safety is our highest priority. When you arrive for SERVE day, we will have a kick off to explain the projects for the day. We will have a variety of projects for all ages and skill sets. If there are projects for 14 and up, we will share this then.

• Liability Waiver: Each volunteer will be required to sign a statement of faith and liability waiver before serving. You can print and fill it out early to bring to your shift here. 

When you arrive, here is what you can expect:

1. Volunteer Check In: There will be a table in the parking lot where you will sign in. At this table, you will sign the waiver and grab a t-shirt (if you don't have one already).
2. Breakout & "The Why": When the shift begins, we will start by pulling all volunteers and leaders together. We will share why we are here, the impact you will have, and how SERVE 6.8 and its church partners have served the community through this response.
3. Training & Breakout: After we share who we are and what we are doing, we will split you into groups and provide additional training. Then, the work begins!

In order to keep everyone safe, nobody under the age of 14 is allowed to serve around heavy equipment. Children and teens under 16 must have a parent on site. Teens 16 to 18 may serve without a parent, but must have a parent signed liability waiver on their behalf before serving. You may print the waiver below and bring it with you to your shift.

During kickoff, we will let you know which projects are available to children under 14 years of age. There will be opportunities for all ages and skill sets!

You may wonder, how will my family be serving? We will have a variety of projects including:

• Yard work
• Moves
• Basic projects and cleaning
• Water & Popsicle handouts in town, dog parks, etc.

When you arrive in Loveland, you will check in and we will have time for worship. After we worship, we will share the projects we have on the docket. There will be a brief explanation and info regarding age restrictions (most projects will be open to all ages).

Then, you will pick a project, your team will meet with your leader for a quick briefing, then you will head to the project site! We have over 20 projects for families needing help this summer, we can't wait to have you! This is a great way to love your neighbor and serve with your family!
